Toda mujer tiene los siguientes derechos con respecto al embarazo

  1. El derecho a recibir atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica antes, durante y despu\u00e9s del embarazo y el parto.<\/li>\n
  2. El derecho a recibir atenci\u00f3n para ella y su beb\u00e9 que sea consistente con los est\u00e1ndares m\u00e9dicos generalmente aceptados.<\/li>\n
  3. El derecho a elegir una enfermera partera certificada o un m\u00e9dico como su profesional de atenci\u00f3n de maternidad.<\/li>\n
  4. El derecho a elegir su lugar de nacimiento entre la gama completa de opciones de parto disponibles en su comunidad.<\/li>\n
  5. El derecho a dejar a su profesional de atenci\u00f3n de maternidad y seleccionar a otro si no est\u00e1 satisfecha con su atenci\u00f3n, salvo que la ley disponga lo contrario.<\/li>\n
  6. El derecho a recibir informaci\u00f3n sobre los nombres de los profesionales de la salud involucrados en su cuidado.<\/li>\n

El derecho de cada paciente, independientemente de la fuente de pago, a examinar y recibir una explicaci\u00f3n razonable de su factura total por los servicios prestados por su profesional de atenci\u00f3n de maternidad o proveedor de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, incluidos los cargos detallados por servicios espec\u00edficos recibidos.
