Con nuestro programa del cuarto trimestre, nuestro objetivo es brindar atenci\u00f3n completa e integral a la madre y al beb\u00e9 en el posparto y durante las primeras 12 semanas. Nuestro programa sigue los criterios establecidos por el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acog.org\/clinical\/clinical-guidance\/committee-opinion\/articles\/2018\/05\/optimizing-postpartum-care\">Colegio Americano de Obstetras y Ginec\u00f3logos<\/a> (ACOG), y trabaja para brindar apoyo a las mam\u00e1s y los beb\u00e9s a intervalos establecidos despu\u00e9s del parto.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque muchas mujeres y beb\u00e9s atraviesan este per\u00edodo despu\u00e9s del parto y el posparto sin problemas, algunas mujeres lo encuentran abrumador o desarrollan problemas de salud importantes que pueden persistir durante semanas y meses despu\u00e9s del parto. Este per\u00edodo del \u201ccuarto trimestre\u201d puede presentar desaf\u00edos considerables para las mujeres, como falta de sue\u00f1o, fatiga, dolor, dificultades para amamantar, falta de deseo sexual e incontinencia urinaria.<\/p>\n<p>La consulta posparto ha sido tradicionalmente una \u00fanica visita, que se realiza seis semanas despu\u00e9s del parto. La atenci\u00f3n posparto \u00f3ptima se extiende a lo largo de semanas y meses y puede promover la salud y el bienestar general, y brindar atenci\u00f3n continua, con servicios y apoyo adaptados a las necesidades individuales de cada mujer.<\/p>\n<p>Para minimizar el estr\u00e9s en las nuevas madres que pueden surgir de viajar a citas de seguimiento frecuentes, ofrecemos visitas domiciliarias a las 2 semanas despu\u00e9s del parto, con controles semanales disponibles seg\u00fan sea necesario.<\/p>\n<h3>A lo largo de las primeras 12 semanas de maternidad buscamos abordar aspectos del cuidado como:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Estado de \u00e1nimo y bienestar emocional<\/li>\n<li>Cuidado infantil y apoyo para el desarrollo<\/li>\n<li>Apoyo a la lactancia<\/li>\n<li>Sexualidad, anticoncepci\u00f3n y espaciamiento de los nacimientos<\/li>\n<li>Sue\u00f1o y fatiga<\/li>\n<li>Recuperaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica desde el nacimiento<\/li>\n<li>Mantenimiento de la salud<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Visita nuestro <a
