“I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have experience providing clinical mental health treatment to children, teens and adults in school and outpatient settings, as well as various services for youth and families in the home and community-based setting. I have extensive experience providing crisis intervention, and have routinely worked with individuals who struggle with a variety of mental health challenges including, depression, anxiety, trauma related diagnoses, mood and adjustment disorders, and behavioral and relationship issues. I am trained in trauma informed mental health care, and practice a collaborative, client-centered, strengths-based approach. I commonly utilize a blend of treatment interventions including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Currently, I am providing school-based counseling services to children and teens at the Johnston City Schools.”
