Farmworker Health Program

Farmworker Health Program at Shawnee Health Care

Shawnee Health Service recognizes the need for our farmworker population to have available access to quality health and social services.

Through our Farmworker Health Program, both Migrant and Seasonal farmworkers are able to access medical, dental, mental health, nutrition counseling, laboratory, pharmacy and social services for themselves and their family members.

A team of bilingual and bicultural outreach workers are professionally trained to provide medical interpreting in Spanish at Shawnee Health Care clinics and at referral appointments by Shawnee providers, as well as case management, health education, outreach services, and help with transportation arrangements upon request.
