Shawnee Health and Food Works are excited to share their new pilot program that provides free healthy food to your family. This new program is exclusive to Shawnee Health patients! Join for free fresh food and nutrition education.
Program participants receive:
- $50 worth of free fresh produce weekly for 12 weeks (online ordering available)
- Six free mandatory nutrition classes
- Fresh produce delivered directly to your home or work
Any Shawnee Health patient who lives in Carterville or Cambria is encouraged to apply! To apply please submit an application through the form below.
Attendance at nutrition classes necessary in order to continually receive the weekly $50 allowance throughout the program. These classes are fun and informative and geared to help educate you on the importance of healthy eating as well as give you practical tips to upgrade your diet.
Classes will be offered in person and virtually via zoom!
