“I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).  I am also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). I have been working with adolescents and adults since 2013. I work with patients ages 12 and up.  I have gained the majority of my experience working with the substance use population. I also work with patients who struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and mood disorders.  I have worked in outpatient settings, as well as IDOC. I worked within the department of corrections for 5 years, providing treatment services in a licensed treatment program for offenders, within the state prison system, as substance use counselor, and later as the program manager. As a therapist, I take a strength-based and client centered approach. Treatment modalities I commonly use are MI, CBT, DBT and ACT.”
