“I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). I have been working with adolescents and adults since 2013 and work with patients ages 12 and up. I have gained the majority of my experience working with the substance-use population. I also work with patients who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders. I have worked in outpatient settings, as well as IDOC. I worked within IDOC for 5 years, as a substance use counselor, and later as the program manager, providing treatment services in a licensed treatment program for individuals in custody. As a therapist, I take a strength-based, person-centered approach.  The treatment modalities I most commonly use are Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.”
