Adult Protective Services (APS)

Adult Protective Services (APS) Specialists conduct investigations and work with adults age 60 or older and adults age 18-59 with disabilities in resolving abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation situations.

Case workers may resolve these situations by linking the client to:

  • Services including in-home care
  • Advocacy for and assistance in pursuing legal options
  • Counseling services
  • Training/education on abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

Information is maintained in strict confidentiality and reporters remain confidential.
