給父母的重要信息

Shawnee Health has a legal responsibility to protect the privacy of a minor (age 12-17) who requests certain services.  Illinois law allows a minor to confidentially seek care for services such as: birth control, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV testing, substance abuse, and mental health services.  These laws are in place to protect teens that wish to keep some healthcare decisions private.  From ages 12-17 years, you will only have access to the billing tab in your child’s Portal.
